The CNY Korean School was established in October 1995 with the support of the Korean Association of Syracuse and other local, regional and national organizations. With on-going encouragement from the Greater Syracuse Community, we continue to offer vital learning opportunities to Korean and Korean-American youths.
We are dedicated to enrich the lives of first- and second- generation Korean-American youths as well as the children of Korean students and Korean adoptees and their families. Our goal is to strengthen their Korean ties while enhancing their dual cultural exposure. Through our unique curriculum, students embrace the values of their Korean heritage, while discovering the benefits of living as Koreans in the midst of American society.

The Korea Day at the Central New York Korean School in Syracuse, held Saturday May 2, was a huge success. Over 150 parents, grandparents, students, teachers, administration, and Korean War Veterans attended. The Korean War Veterans were honored, and the school students from the Korean School got extra credit, and ended their spring semester with fun and games!! The Korean food was excellent. |
